PROGRAM ASSISTANT

Job Type: Part-Time; multiple shifts available   
Required education: High School Diploma or equivalent  
Required experience: Human Services; Administrative Support 
The Program Assistant conducts all data entry and clerical support for services specified by the program. They will also support program staff with administrative duties for Pride Center. The Program Assistant will support contract goals by assisting with outreach, community events, and program activities. The Program Assistant works closely with the program staff and the Program Manager in reviewing and handling matters related to the above mentioned functions.  

COMMUNITY HEALTH SPECIALIST

Job Type: Full-time   
Required education: Associate’s  
Required experience: Working with LGBTQ communities (2 years)  
Additional requirement(s): Must have dependable, insured vehicle and NYS Driver’s License
The Community Health Specialist assists with the development, coordination, and implementation of outreach activities specifically targeted to young men who have sex with men (YMSM). The Community Health Specialist will provide rapid HIV testing and follow-up with individuals who receive services onsite and within the community. They provide test results, promote risk reduction techniques and encourage linkages to primary care, STI screening, PrEP services and other wrap-around services.  

caregiver wellness specialist

Job Type: Full-time   
Required education: Bachelor's
Required experience: Exeperiecewith LGBTQ communities in addition to providing direct service to AD/D population or older adults (3 years)  
Additional requirement(s): Must have dependable, insured vehicle and NYS Driver’s License
The Caregiver Wellness Specialist is responsible for the development, implementation, and provision of the Alzheimer's and other Dementias (AD/D) Caregiver Suppert for Underserviced Initiatiave. Responsibilities include carrying out workplan goals to link caregivers to a person with AD/D in which the caregiver and/or person with AD/D identifies as LGBTQ or ally; facilitation of suppoert groups / joint enrichment programming; caregiver and AD/D education; intake, assessment and referral for services; and other duties as assigned. The Caregiver Wellness Specialist works closely with the program staff and Program Manager in reviewing and handling matters related to the above mentioned functions.
